What's Wrong witht the Boy?

Should we be concerned?
Should we be uptight?
He's back in his room again
It's Friday night
Not parties, not cars
Seem to give him much joy
Something is not quite right
What's wrong with the boy?
It's so hard to take
We don't know what to do
Maybe send him to summer camp
Or military school?
He's not a bad kid
But he's starting to annoy
With his head in the clouds
What's wrong with the boy?
We don't want to be nosy
We're not trying to be mean
But we never should have bought him
That recording machine,
And the guitar and the records
He plays night and day,
He's got no steady girlfriend
Could it be that he's... gay?
The next thing you know
He'll be in some band
And sleeping 'til noon each day
With no future plan
He's got no steady job
He's just part time employed
Looks like he's goin' nowhere
What's wrong with the boy?
What's wrong with the boy?
What's wrong with the boy?
What's wrong with the boy?
What's wrong with the boy?
What's wrong with the boy?
What's wrong with the boy?
The only thing worse,
Would make our nightmare complete,
If the boy should become
Some religious-type freak
